~Christmas Special!!~

Authors note: This chapter is a Christmas special, so it will be written in a different format (No FPPOV). Enjoy! 🙂

Phea: “Come on Aunt Kim! Dad’s about to start the story!!”

Kim: “I’m coming guys, I just need to finish baking the cookies! Go ahead, start without me!”

Luke: “Alright mom! Suit yourself! Go on Uncle Jed, reaaaaad it!”

Jed: ” *laughs* Alright, alright…

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Jed: “The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St Nicolas soon would be there.”

Jed: “The children were nestled, all snug in their beds, while visions of-“

Noah: “-MONSTERS swarmed in their heads!! *snickers*”

Nix: “Monsters?! MOMMY NO MONSTERS!”

Ana: “Dadee save me from monsters!”

Micki: “NOAH! For Christ’s sake! We’re trying to enjoy a story, stop scaring the babies!”

Noah: “Oh come on mom… this is just lame. I’m too young for this book. Let me go to shleep. *smiles wide*”

Micki: “OH yeah?! Well your also too young for playboy Pj’s! Why aren’t you wearing the Christmas Pj’s we got you?! And put a shirt on, I’m tired of staring at you like that!”

Noah: “Mom… don’t stare at my chest! That’s creepy! *covers self*”

Jed: “*rubs temples* Can I please continue this story? *looks down* Kids, when you get older and tell your children Christmas stories about our family… leave this part out, mkay?”

Kids: ” *all nods*”

Jed: “-But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, ‘Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!!’ *closes book* The end!”

Kim: “Alright, it’s also time for you kids to say good-night as well. Remember the quicker you go to sleep, the faster Santa will come!”

Kids: “G’night!! *scurries off*”

Micki: “*sighs* I wish it worked like that all year round…”

Jed: “Don’t we all.”

A few hours later…

Luke: “Phea?”

Ophelia: “Zzzzzz….”

Luke: “Phea, are you awake yet??”

Phea: “*turns over*”

Luke: “Ophelia, wake up!”

Phea: “*jumps out of bed* Whaaaat?! What happened?!”

Luke: “Okay, so your not going to believe this…”

Phea: “Try me.”

Luke: “I think I heard Santa Claus out in the living room!”

Phea: “*gasp* Are you sure?!”

Luke: “Well, I heard a lot of rustling, and footsteps. Who else could that be??”

Phea: “Well… I guess there is only one way to find out.”

Luke: “I don’t see anything.”

Phea: “Me neither. Also look *points to table*-“

Phea: “-He didn’t eat his cookies or drink his milk! I think he might still be here…”

Luke: “Good eye! I didn’t even notice that.”

Phea: “Well… *flips hair* I do have quite a few skills.”

 *stomp, stomp, stomp*

Phea: “*strieks* What was that?!“

Luke: “*puts up hand* Don’t freak out, it could be Santa.”

Phea: “Why is he going upstairs? The tree is in the living room.”

Luke: “Maybe he couldn’t see it, it’s really dark in here. Let’s just go see, just to make sure he’s okay.”

Luke: “Hello? Santa, are you okay?”

Phea: “I don’t think he heard you…”

Luke: “*gestures* Come on, let’s go.”

Phea: “Alright, but I’m staying behind you. That way if something tries to eat you, I can run… for help.“

Luke: “*rolls eyes*”

Luke: “Come on Phea! Stop walking so slow…”

Phea: “Alright, alright…”

*tip toe, tip toe, tip toe…*

Noah: “SANTA’S GONNA GET CHA’!!!!“

Luke & Phea: *SCREAMS*

Noah: “Hehehehe… you should of seen your faces!”

Phea: “I’M TELLING ON YOU!!! MOMMMMMMY!!!! DADDDDDY!!!

Noah: “*looks nervous* No, no, no, no, no!!! Come on, it was a joke you big baby!”

*light flicks on*

Micki: “WHAT is going on in here?!”

Jed: “Yes, do explain why you three are up here! Your shouts woke up Ana!!”

Phea: “It was HIM! *points to Noah* He pretended to be Santa and he scared Luke and me, mommy! I almost cried!”

Luke: “*nods in agreement*”

Jed: “NOAH! Why would you do that?! Come on!”

Noah: “*laughs nervously* Uhm, heh, heh… Happy Holidays?”

Micki: “*sighs loudly* Just- All of you in bed, NOW! *walks downstairs with Jed*

Phea: “So, if you’re not Santa… then does that mean he forgot about us? It’s past midnight, and still no presents. *frowns*”

Noah: “Whoa, Phea… come on? Just ’cause your big bro can be a douch- err… jerk sometimes, doesn’t mean Santa forgot you. He’ll come, you’ll see.”

Noah: “I mean, he could be downstairs right now setting up all our gifts! Maybe he was just waiting for the right moment?”

Phea: “You know? You’re right! What am I worrying for!?”

Phea: “He could have already eaten his cookies, put down the presents, and left by now! And I wouldn’t even know it…”

Phea: “You may be a meanie at times, but you’re not half bad.”

Noah: “*chuckles* Oh, yeah? Well, you’re not half bad yourself…”
